Our client, a leading contractor specialising in industrial developments, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Site Manager to support the successful delivery of a new build industrial unit in Croydon. Key Responsibilities Assist the Site Manager in overseeing daily site activities, ensuring works are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate with subcontractors and trades to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project specifications. Monitor site health and safety compliance, conducting regular inspections and addressing potential issues. Support quality assurance processes, ensuring that all work meets the required standards. Maintain clear and accurate site records, including daily progress reports and updates. Requirements Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within new build industrial projects. SMSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid certification (essential). Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
