Our client, who is one of London's leading developers, is looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager for their development in the Twickenham region. Creating 200+ units and with a project completion date of mid 2027, the scheme is a mix of RC frame, blocks of apartments, and terraces of high-end residential.
The day-to-day duties will involve overseeing subcontractors, managing health & safety, and ensuring the project runs to speed and programme.
The first 12 months will involve external works - brickwork, RC frame, and general envelope works, making sure the project is watertight. The next stage will be moving into the internal works covering fit-out and finishing.
The selected candidate will ideally have a construction-related degree and have at least 2 years post-graduate experience having worked directly for a main contractor or developer. Solid IT skills with experience of monitoring H&S is highly desirable.
