They should be confident and willing to learn as they will be involved in all aspects of the business. They should be confident at working towards sales targets and want to exceed expectations with good computer skills and a team. Full training given. PROFILE The successful candidate should have the following attributes: Experience of managing customers. A proven ability to perform in a fast-paced demanding environment with minimal supervision. Self-driven, passionate, and committed to exceeding expectations. Some experience in a sales and customer service role. Ability to assist and deliver all sales and revenue targets. Be prepared to work every other Saturday with a day off in the week; store hours are 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM Mon-Fri, and 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Saturdays. Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise workloads. Is target driven and always strives to succeed. RESPONSIBILITIES Sales and Customer Service Responsible for the conversion of prospects into storage customers. Actively promote the sale of add-on products, merchandise, insurance, and shredding. Promote the services of both the Store and the company. Ensure that all customers (both in person, on the telephone, and through e-mail) are given all the help and advice possible. Ensure that all customer enquiries are logged and followed up in a timely manner. Ensure that all customers visiting the Store are aware of the security procedures. Handle all customer requests professionally and with customer service in mind. Store Presentation Maintain the highest possible level of cleanliness and presentation of the store, including all internal and external areas, office, and toilet. Accountable for the presentation of packaging materials to generate increased sales and enhance the reception/retail area. Ensure that the company equipment is fit for its purpose and report any equipment that needs attention or repair. Report any maintenance required at the store via appropriate channels in a timely manner; this may include undertaking minor repairs where necessary. Be smart and professional at all times. Show a high standard ability for sales. Self-driven and passionate with a desire to exceed expectations. Responsible for managing information, decision making, planning, and prioritising to achieve business results ensuring all deadlines are met. General Responsible for the accurate completion of Storage King's policies and procedures. Attend Company meetings and actively participate in the development of Company policies and procedures. Ensure all Health and Safety standards are fully implemented within the store. Continually review own performance and seek opportunities to improve and learn. Respond to all reasonable administration and business requests in a timely and professional manner.
