THE ROLE As the world of retail evolves, our stores must set the tone for what our brands are all about. The Assistant Manager plays a key role in achieving these standards, leading by example and inspiring their teams through their passion for our brands. Responsibilities include: Leading the store teams to generate sales, profit, minimize losses, and create the best possible customer experience whilst ensuring the store is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained. Identifying opportunities to grow the business and improve performance through collaboration. Maintaining corporate visual merchandising directives and standards for sales floor and back room. Working alongside the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication and understanding between VM and store teams. Partnering with the store management team to build on business opportunities and achieve company standards and objectives. Focusing staff on the importance of quality relationships with internal and external customers and ensuring accountability in building a repeat customer base. Completing daily/weekly store walkthroughs and evaluating product performance, pricing, staff service levels and inventory levels. Communicating to the Store Manager what is driving sales and discussing any issues/priorities to develop strategies to maximize business. Analyzing store level reports and creating action plans to improve results. Assisting with manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing and hiring processes. Participating in weekly management meetings alongside other staff meetings. Clearly communicating store and individual sales goals and other key performance expectations to staff. Providing a great customer journey and achieving exemplary mystery shop results. About
