Hamleys are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join their team at Heathrow Airport. You will assist in managing all store operations to achieve targeted sales, deliver excellent customer service, and effectively manage and develop your team. Additionally, you will support the Store Manager, assuming their responsibilities in their absence. Key Responsibilities: Improve business performance and achieve objectives. Ensure your team consistently delivers “Trading The Hamleys Way” (TTHW). Drive, deliver, and develop exceptional customer service. Maintain regular and proactive communication with key stakeholders, ensuring all retail principles, store layouts, recruitment/training of team members, and the overall brand proposition meet required standards. Contribute to the implementation and management of promotions. Actively support the recruitment, induction, development, and retention of your team. Assist the Store Manager in operating within set budgets and controlling all costs/losses. Ensure adherence to all employee policies and procedures. Interpret store performance using commercial reports to aid decision-making.
