The Assistant Manager will be the foundation of the Strand store by owning the day-to-day operation of the store, range management, team leadership and engagement and best-in-class processes. Key Responsibilities Create a brilliant consumer experience in the Strand that establishes Twinings as a leading wellbeing drinks brand Ensure the Strand is run efficiently, creatively and safely to boost sales and that the team are engaged and are creating a distinctive, premium and wellbeing centric customer experience Ensure the Strand is the worthy flagship store and wellbeing hub for Twinings by delivering an excellent and efficient supply of the whole range through accurate forecasting, managing the stock levels and owning efficient procurement of third-party products Manage the day-to-day operations of the store as the deputy to the store manager. Management of store policies & procedures, accurate record keeping, supporting people management processes and identifying opportunities for improved ways of working. Maintain, deliver and improve Security, Maintenance and H&S standards both in store and in the new office space to ensure high-quality wellbeing for customers and team members Dream & deliver the future for the Strand by identifying new commercial opportunities and high-quality customer experience Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a supervisory retail position Experience in reporting and forecasting within a retail environment Experience of stock take processes Great analytical skills with proficiency in problem solving Effective ability to prioritise & plan as well as dream about the future Flexible and resourceful worker who is at ease in a fast paced and ever-changing retail environment Strong attention to detail and ownership of processes Effective communicator focused on building new relationships and fostering a great collaborative team spirit SAP experience would be highly beneficial Benefits Yearly bonus based on personal contribution and financial performance Flexible working options 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays and the option to buy and sell holidays Perkbox - employee discount scheme with discounts online, in high street stores, cinema, holidays, restaurants and many more Pension scheme with your contributions matched for up to 10% of your salary Cycle to work scheme SimplyHealth Cash plan Onsite Staff shop and online staff discounts Opportunity for a variety of marketing leading development opportunities 2 recharge days a year to pause and get back on top and thriving Birthday day off Inspiring connection events in line with our exciting wellbeing vision
