Assistant Store Manager Location: Shepherds Bush, Near to White City. Salary: Depending on experience Working hours: Full time – including weekend work. This role offers an additional day off for your birthday, discounts on eyecare and earcare, and access to Specsavers perks. Excellent transport links to the store – Central, Hammersmith & City, Circle lines, and London Overground all within a short walk. Just a 5 mins walk to the popular Westfield London Shopping Centre with lots of shops, restaurants, and activities. Experience level: Must have current optical experience or within the last 5 years and dispense and pre-screen. You will be working in a newly refurbished store with a talented small close-knit team. This team is composed of full-time and part-time members who are always willing to help each other and go the extra mile to provide outstanding service to our incredibly happy customers, which is why we are rated 4.3 on Google and consistently in the top 3 of our region for Customer Service Index. Are you a natural leader with a true desire for coaching and the ability to build strong lasting relationships with others? As an Assistant Store Manager at Specsavers, you’ll bring the energy to motivate and encourage the wider team, ensuring our high standards are maintained at all times. Leadership skills are important, but so is your drive, work ethic, and knowledge of Optics. This means leading by example and inspiring others to strive for excellence, providing the best possible customer care. With your optical experience and solid knowledge of what an excellent store looks like, you’ll manage day-to-day operations, ensure financial and performance goals are met, develop commercial opportunities, and support the recruitment and induction of new staff members. We’re looking for an expert team leader who is organised, approachable, and supportive - making people feel confident and free to input their ideas and suggestions.
