Assistant Technical Manager

Due to growth & contract wins, they are looking to strengthen their technical & quality assurance team with an experienced Assistant Technical Manager. Responsibilities:
Work alongside the technical & quality teams to ensure compliance to regulatory standards. Be up to speed with current UK & EU food legislation. Work with internal departments, stakeholders, and 3rd party organisations to ensure that products & packaging meet technical and quality standards. Update & manage the QMS to meet BRCGS standards. Develop & deliver training programmes and lead HACCP objectives identifying areas of improvement. Lead new product development and ensure packaging & product meet specifications. At least 2 years experience in a company manufacturing a similar product or category (ideally bread or bakery). Relevant degree, HACCP level 3. 1st class communication skills. Enthusiastic, positive, and motivational. Reliable & conscientious. Courteous, polite & professional.
