We are recruiting an Assistant Transport Manager and Compliance Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council. Working hours:

Tir y Berth Depot This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Green Spaces and Transport Team. We pay an attractive salary of £37,938 - £40,476 and offer access to training and development opportunities. An opportunity has arisen for the post of Assistant Transport Manager within a local authority setting. You will be required to be named on the Operator License along with the Transport Manager. The role requires strict compliance and auditing and the ability to work in an agile manner. The postholder will be responsible for the compliance of all vehicles operated by Caerphilly County Borough Council and ensure compliance with COSHH; LOLER; Pressure Testing; Tool Calibrations and any other Health and Safety Regulations. You will also be responsible for overseeing a small admin team within the department. For the role, we ask that you have: A Level 4 Business Administration or other relevant qualification at the same level on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. A Level 3 in MOT Test Centre Management. In-depth knowledge of Fleet Management software systems and how they relate to Operator Licence Compliance. A Minimum of two years' experience in working in a Fleet Management setting. We have excellent benefits including the Local Government Pension Scheme and staff discount schemes.
