Job Title: Assistant Central Buying Department: Merchandise Planning & Central Buying Reporting to: Director Central Buying Location: London Job Purpose and Context This position will be part of the Jimmy Choo Merchandising Planning & Central Buying Team to work alongside the Director Central Buying helping to implement central buying strategy on Footwear category with a well-balanced product assortment keeping with brand objectives. Key responsibilities: Work alongside Director of Buying to define global Core assortment during the buys. Prepare a pre-season analysis pack on seasonal performance to support assortment definition. Update seasonal buy roll up to be able to challenge regions during the buys. Prepare a Carryover reorder list at the time of the buys and ahead of each monthly reorder for the regions to be able to follow strategy led by Central. Ensure open communication with the regions on a consistent basis regarding hits or misses for Footwear category. Create a seasonal pack to Product Merchandising team to ensure all product requests are shared with them and aligned with Central buying strategy including regional capsules. Create a comprehensive analysis pack ahead of Buying team regional visits. Conduct strong competitor analysis throughout the year to catch any trend and product highlight during fashion shows. Partner with Marketing and Visual Merchandising to share the buy strategy and product challenges. Liaise with Production and Supply Chain to ensure priorities are aligned with buying strategy. Requirements: Degree in a related field such as Economics, Business Analytics, or Fashion Management. 2 years previous experience in a Luxury Brand. Proficient user of Power Point and Excel.
