IDP have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced, talented Associate/Associate Director to join our team in our Central office on a permanent basis. Requirements

Ability to work on a variety of projects, predominantly on large residential and mixed-use masterplans, public sector schemes, infrastructure and renewable energy. Acting as the day-to-day contact for clients and design team on existing projects. Project managing significant high profile projects leading a range of multi-disciplinary profiles through our in house landscape and urban design teams. Leading project teams and delivery of concurrent deadlines in a timely manner. Conducting site, context and character appraisals to inform landscape strategies and emerging masterplan proposals. Working up contextual drawings, design strategies and detailed illustrations to support design principles. Understanding of technical and construction projects and managing Developer demands and budget requirements. Producing formal LVIA, Vision Documents and Design Codes, comprising written and graphic outputs. Working alongside local communities and other stakeholders through collaborative design workshops and presentations. Desired Skills and Experience:

A Landscape Architecture PG Dip or Masters in the UK – candidates with less formal qualifications may be considered based upon excellent track record and a strong portfolio. Experience of working on UK residential and mixed-use development masterplans in a Landscape Architecture or detailed design role. Strong design background, working in a consultancy environment. Able to produce high quality hand drawings and have a strong eye for detail. Project management skills and experience of working on complex multi-disciplinary projects. Responsible for decision making, able to foresee problems and come up with effective solutions and strategies. Excellent written communication, presentation and negotiation skills, including an interest in community engagement. An understanding of business development and client needs to elevate the reputation and success of the company. Qualifications:
