As an Associate Building Surveyor, you’ll work with a varied portfolio of investor clients and collaborate closely with internal departments to deliver expert, commercial building surveying and consultancy services. Key Responsibilities: Reinstatement Cost Assessments:
Oversee and deliver large-scale portfolios, estimating rebuilding costs in the event of damage or destruction. Building Inspections & Reporting:
Conduct detailed inspections, assess conditions, and produce comprehensive reports with recommendations. Contract Administration:
Prepare and manage specifications for repair and refurbishment contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms. Dilapidations & Exit Strategies:
Draft and negotiate dilapidation schedules, ensuring the appropriate repairs or refurbishments are completed at lease-end. Planned Preventative Maintenance:
Develop and manage long-term maintenance plans to safeguard the integrity and functionality of buildings. Building Reinstatement Cost Assessments:
Estimate the costs to restore buildings to their original condition, often for insurance purposes. Portfolio Coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams to manage client portfolios and deliver a full range of building surveying services. Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture strong relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring exceptional service delivery. Business Development & Travel:

You hold an
MRICS
(Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) with a specialization in building surveying. Post-qualification experience (PQE) in a commercial consultancy is highly desirable. Technical Competence:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. Experience with AutoCAD is advantageous.
