My client, a prominent, nationwide multi-disciplinary consultancy, is recruiting into their London Building Surveying team.

Role Overview:

As an Associate Building Surveyor, you will be integral to various significant projects across sectors like retail, health, education, and more. Collaborating with senior managers, you will lead multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the growth of my client's business.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee a range of refurbishment and modernisation projects from inception through to completion, with projects ranging from £100k to +£10 million. Contracts Administration. Manage contracts using standard forms such as JCT and NEC. Mentor and train junior surveyors, aiding in their professional growth. Carry out surveys and inspections while managing regional projects. Identify new business opportunities and support bid submissions.

What You Bring:

Building Surveying Degree or an equivalent RICS-accredited degree. MRICS/Chartered status is highly desirable. Strong technical knowledge and substantial experience in surveying. Proven skills in client management with an emphasis on business development. Experience in mentoring and coaching team members. Ability to draft technical documents and specifications effectively.

Your salary will be reviewed each year, starting at between £70,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus the following benefits: Annual car allowance circa £5k Bonus 25 days holiday Private healthcare Pension contribution up to 10%
