An exciting opportunity has arisen for an NHS dentist to work in a well-established independent practice in Inglemire, Hull. This vacancy will suit a variety of applicants, from those who are seeking a role over 2,3 or 4 days a week to deliver NHS dentistry to someone looking for something more. The practice owner has now retired and is looking for a new dentist to come in and deliver the practice’s current NHS contract. NHS delivery is key but if you are ambitious and embrace opportunity, this could be the ideal role for you. You would be welcomed to introduce and build a private dentistry offering to expand the services available, and for those looking to own their own practice there is potential opportunity to purchase this practice and make it your own. A well-established NHS dental practice with a stable and maintained patient base, with exciting opportunities for the right person. Full time and part time available Opportunities include the introduction of private dentistry and practice purchase. Existing, well maintained patient base. R4 system and digital x-ray Located in a residential area, only 10 minutes by car from Hull centre. Proposed start date: Urgently required. The Role A dedicated dentist who can consistently undertake all the following responsibilities: Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients, including regular cleanings, root canals and surgical extractions. Other areas of dentistry welcomed. Educate patients and parents of patients on maintaining good oral health. Communicate with dental staff in our team regarding patient treatment plans. Prescribe medications as necessary. Carefully document all medications, diagnoses, treatments and consultations. Supervise the work of professional, technical and administrative staff. Will hold: BDS, BChD or LDS qualification. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dentist. Current GDC registration to practise dentistry. NHS Performer Number. Valid malpractice liability insurance. Up-to-date CPD. The successful Applicant Will provide the best dentistry and patient care. Will be enthusiastic, confident and a good team player. Will have a patient centred approach Will be ambitious and driven. Will be caring and ethical. Will want to establish themselves within a practice. Will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
