Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
The position offers 3000-4000 UDAs (rate dependent on experience) with additional high private treatment take up and potential. Three or four days available (Tuesday to Friday).
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic treatments.
Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for precise dental restorations.
Interpret medical imaging to diagnose conditions accurately and plan treatments effectively.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Educate patients on oral health practices and preventative care strategies.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operation of the practice.
Stay updated with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Experience
A recognised dental degree is essential, along with relevant licensure to practice dentistry in the UK.
Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory for newly qualified dentists.
Proficiency in CAD software is advantageous for enhancing treatment outcomes.
Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques and anatomy is beneficial for effective diagnosis and treatment planning.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction are crucial for success in this role.
