ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR - ACCOUNTANCY

Our client is a professional Accountancy Practice who are well established and work with High net Worth Individuals, Property Investors, Owner Managed Businesses and Sports professionals. Due to expansion and continued growth they are looking for an Associate Director with a strong Accountancy background.

The Associate Director role will be involved and client facing. We need an individual with an excellent track record of Accountancy and the ability to manage a team of Client Accountants. Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a client portfolio on an ongoing basis

• Develop strong client relationships

• Managing a team of Client Managers and Accountants

• Review of personal tax computations for client owners within the portfolio of clients

• Review of company structure and ensure all new legislation is kept up to date to ensure clients are being tax efficient

• Review of Annual Returns prepared by the team prior to filing

• Completion of own compliance work including preparation of accounts, tax computations and company, partnership and individual tax returns

• Regular attendance at client meetings to discuss future strategies and any tax planning issues

• Review of budgets and projections prepared by Client Managers

The Associate Director role will work closely with other Directors and responsibilities will include:

• Liaise with financial institutions such as Banks, Factoring Companies, etc.

• Ensure quality of work and all practice procedures conform with governing bodies regarding Accountancy practices

• Manage various projects to include: Finance raising, business planning, forecasting, etc.

• Attend external events and represent the business in a professional manner

• Supporting the Directors in the running of the Accountancy practice

The ideal individual for the Associate Director will be accomplished in all areas of Accounting and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will be based in modern, state of the art offices and benefits include:Parking, Flexi Time, 25 days holidays, etc.
