Effective leadership support of the architectural design team including accountability for remuneration, mobility, and development. You'll be responsible for: Delivers delegated elements of an annual business plan, a programme or portfolio of projects. Provides strategic advice to senior leadership on Architectural Design matters. Chairs Architectural design business improvement workshops. Accountable for quality assurance of design outputs for team. Develops resource and fee proposals. Responsible for external audit programme including preparing for and management of such. Responsible for overseeing developing and implementing an internal audit programme. Management of investigations and root cause analysis of instances of non-conformance, including the identification of corrective measures and long-term preventative measures. Responsible for leading and reviewing management system content for appropriateness, improvement, and implementation. Participates in the identification of new systems and processes and lead their development & implementation. Directs the delivery of the Architectural Design communication strategy. Responsible for making clear recommendations for action to mitigate risk and improve effectiveness of a management system. Supports business development activities including bidding. Responsible for the development and delivery of training including training materials where required. Manages the monitoring of performance of a supply chain. Partners with multiple internal and external stakeholders, working in collaboration to implement strategy/programmes/initiatives. Manages, influences & negotiates with key senior stakeholders (up to c-suite). Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work. You'll need to have: Effective technical competence, capability, knowledge & application of all Architectural systems. Relevant industry qualification (or equivalent). Competent in statutory regulations and standards. Experienced in current industry standards and regulations. Good knowledge of Office 365 suite and data analysis tools. Excellent communications skills and customer focus. Ability to present comfortably and in a relaxed manner. Ability to work to tight deadlines alone and as part of a team. Building and maintaining positive relationships across a business and with all levels of management. Strong organisational skills. Ability to take initiative and to make appropriate decisions. Line management experience. Leads others effectively. Ability to influence and persuade senior management towards a desired course of action. Effective stakeholder management. You'll also have: Degree qualified (or equivalent). Chartered professional. Fully conversant in Revit software and associated digital tools.
