THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Create meaningful marketing mechanics across the marketing mix that cut through and deliver results: Fully embrace the power of digital across brands and through the purchase funnel working with in-house and external digital partners to deliver with excellence. Execute with excellence, work closely with design team, influencer marketing media team and external partners to step change quality of marketing materials to reach the aspirational standards of the brands in the portfolio. Create, develop and manage brand activity programmes to ensure all relevant activity focus across all trade sectors and markets, and media activity is clear and maximises budgets by brand.

Working closely with an external media agency to lead media strategy planning to achieve the set KPIs in a cost-efficient way. Stay up to date with the media trends and latest innovative solutions to engage with the consumer to drive consumer journey. Lead the development of our brand portfolio strategy, identifying key business priorities and NPD launches, ensuring this strategy is in line with profitability targets and our growth agenda. Own the development of the annual brand plan, maximising market opportunities for brand growth driven by a clear understanding of consumer insight and the competitive landscape. Ownership for the annual advertising and promo budget defining clear priorities. Control Marketing expenditure and ensure evaluation of all spend on a continuous basis. Effectively influence global brand teams ensuring the UK is central to their broader strategy. Establish brand and business performance metrics, remaining close to these throughout the year with a strong commercial awareness of brand performance escalating within the business as needed. Regularly review plan and performance throughout year, taking appropriate remedial action as vital. Drive the consumer agenda, working with Global CMI partners to bring consumer closeness and insight led plan development and activities. Work with the sales and channel marketing teams to delight and excite our customers, building strategic partnerships and ensuring product listings. Lead OPI Education team to ensure service to our pros, consumers and retail customers but also that a nail tech voice and influence is given to global initiatives and brand comms. QUALIFICATIONS. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with energy, enthusiasm, and great stakeholder management skills. We are looking for someone with a passion for brand building and beauty, particularly the hair categories. You like to hit the ground running, owning your projects, and driving them through to ensure the UK market is on the map for best in class. You will excel in creating engaging communication and gaining buy-in from cross functional teams through creative storytelling and brand building.

Degree in Marketing or Business. Previous strong experience in Senior Brand Marketing, ideally within a Health and Beauty retail environment, for minimum 4-5 years. Working knowledge of digital marketing with experience delivering engaging social media campaigns. Previous experience of working with UK retailers, in particular the High Street channel. Able to influence effectively at all levels of the business. An able and persuasive presenter. Prioritises and organises work to meet deadlines without direct supervision. Able to take ownership of projects, work independently and use initiative to find solutions. An aptitude for and experience of analysing and interpreting data. Direct or indirect people management experience. Excellent PC skills, with strong Microsoft Excel/Word/Powerpoint know-how. WHAT WE OFFER
