The role

We’re looking for a Commercial Leader to join our high-performing commercial team to bring growth to our data-driven Exchange by accessing and converting new and existing customers with the central goal of reaching our ambitious premium traded targets. Here are the key responsibilities of this role: Identify, quality, pursue and covert a healthy pipeline of business development opportunities. Take ownership of the sales pipeline constantly updating and contributing the health of the roadmap. Lead scoping of opportunities and fee negotiation with both new and existing customers that will deliver value to the customer and contribute substantially to your own individual and InsurX's targets. Pursue a results driven approach for both your individual and InsurX's collective targets. Focus on prospecting and cultivating relationships across the insurance industry with a view to identifying new product opportunities and growth of existing verticals. Continually be looking to scale and expand existing opportunities. Actively listen to customer feedback and propose effective solutions using the Exchange's data and technology. Contribute to the development of the Commercial team's marketing collateral and positioning in the market. Represent InsurX at various industry conferences and events. Develop and validate new product opportunities with existing and new customers. Collaborate with our data and technology teams to develop a scalable execution plan. Inspire, motivate and develop team members to constantly enhance the collective ability of the team. Take ownership of their career development, set achievable but ambitious targets, nurture their growth and give constructive feedback. About you

Here’s what we think the ideal candidate for this role looks like: Proven ability to own the delivery of ambitious commercial targets in a B2B environment whilst working to outperform these targets. This includes prospecting, lead generation, negotiation and closing. 7+ years experience in the London insurance market. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders up to C-suite level. Bring a motivated and self-starter attitude to your role - you'll take ownership of your own success and will be empowered to do so. Experience supporting and developing junior team members. Share your knowledge and experience to the mutual success and development of the team. Be adaptable to a constantly changing landscape - we're looking to change the market so you need to be able to pivot and flex dynamically to deliver to a moving target. Effective prioritisation. You’ll have a lot of competing opportunities and priorities – it’s important you are proactive in validating both yours and the teams’ targets to maximise revenue opportunity. The ability to identify challenges, propose and deliver solutions for our customers.
