The Role
An exciting Associate Director opportunity is available to work in Danske Bank’s Loan Syndications team, based in London.
What you will do
In this position you will have a dual role in supporting:
Execution of corporate loans (syndicated and bilateral) for Danske Bank’s UK and Irish corporate clients including those managed in the bank’s branch in London, plus its subsidiary in Northern Ireland and its branch in Dublin.
Structuring/pricing/distribution of syndicated loans for Danske Bank’s Nordic corporate clients.
Supporting relationship/origination teams in pitching for, approving and executing primary syndicated loan deals.
Helping formulate structure/pricing proposals for Danske-led deals.
Providing market view on pricing/terms of participation opportunities.
Structuring/negotiation/drafting of loan offers for international clients including commercial input on term sheets/mandate letters/facility agreements.
Coordinating with legal/middle office teams on the documentation/transaction management/closing of international deals.
General tracking of products and participants in the syndicated loan market to support the team’s preparation/maintenance of relevant marketing materials for meetings with clients.
Coverage of bank counter-parties.
What skills/qualifications will you need?
Graduate preferably in a Finance/Business/Management/Economics subject.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working within a syndicated loans team, either in an origination, execution or syndicate role.
Expertise in analysing/executing syndicated loan product.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
