Our leading client is looking for a highly skilled Associate Director to lead and manage their development portfolio. This role is crucial for overseeing commercial relationships with multiple development partners and driving innovation. Prior renewable energy experience is key!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team to excel in commercial management, promoting professional growth and continuous improvement.

  • Fund Delivery: Collaborate with fund managers to achieve key objectives, report on performance metrics, and manage investment KPIs.

  • Commercial Management: Oversee strategic management of multiple renewable energy developers, ensure performance aligns with objectives, and optimize financial returns.

  • Governance: Maintain and improve governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Relationship Management: Build strong partnerships with developers, funds, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of investment goals.

  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to protect investment values and enhance portfolio resilience.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related fields.

  • 10+ years of senior management experience in renewable energy or related sectors.

  • Proficient in financial modelling, project management, and data and reporting.

  • Strong regulatory, governance, and compliance knowledge, with experience in managing complex operations across various geographical locations.
