This is a good opportunity! I'm assisting a well-established and well-run medium-sized practice in their search for an Associate/Senior Associate Architect based in central London. This is a permanent position with a salary circa £65,000 pa depending on experience. This role lends itself to those who are comfortable in a managerial role as well as a job running position. Occasionally you'll be involved in the typical day-to-day responsibilities as an Architect; however, there's much more emphasis on your ability to lead a few projects and manage small teams to deliver such projects. Experience in managing teams of 4-6 would be ideal. Generally, you should have a solid technical understanding and be very comfortable in the delivery of RIBA stages. You'll be on-site regularly, problem-solving, and working alongside clients and contractors under budget and time constraints. This will require a high level of communication both within the office/team and as a main point of contact for specific projects. The work is large-scale residential, with a secure workflow incoming for the foreseeable future. It is vital you can demonstrate experience in competing on such projects. The company is known as residential specialists with projects ranging from 200-500 unit developments and medium-high rise towers. Experience with Revit is preferable; more specifically, managing teams using Revit would be advantageous. You may not be producing Revit drawings on a day-to-day basis, but you will certainly be directing team members in this area, hence the need for some understanding of BIM and Revit in general. This is a long-term strategic hire and the start of what seems to be a busy few years ahead. You'll have the chance to make decisions regarding adding to your team after the initial bedding-in period. There is a commitment to hybrid working depending on deadlines and current workflow. If this sounds like the opportunity for you, please don't delay and get in touch now. Seniority level
