We're looking for a dynamic and talented senior leader to join our Trust at a pivotal time as we develop our strategy for the next 5 years. Our values are about us being Proud to CARE. Along with credibility and compassion, you will understand the importance of living our values. Our patients and colleagues are at the heart of all we do and we're very proud of our most recent staff survey results where we were rated among the top acute Trusts in the country with 72% of colleagues recommending #TeamCRH as a place to work and 73% telling us they would be happy with the standard of care should a friend or relative need it. A resilient and experienced leader, you will be passionate and committed to delivering exceptional outcomes with the skills, enthusiasm, and aspiration to make a difference. You will bring excellent communication and engagement skills to build and influence relationships with internal and external stakeholders across local and regional partners. This role has a complex and demanding portfolio and so if your ambition matches ours, then we look forward to hearing from you. Main duties of the job

The Associate Director of Strategy, Planning and Partnerships is a core member of the Trust's leadership team. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will work closely with the Trust Board, our partners and the wider leadership team to develop new strategy for the next five years, translating strategy into tangible business objectives through the planning cycle. Essential to this role is understanding the importance of our role in the wider health and social care economy to develop strategic priorities with our patients at the forefront of your mind through skilled and extensive stakeholder engagement. We are part of the Joined Up Care Derbyshire (JUCD) health and care system and work collaboratively with organisations across South Yorkshire and the East Midlands. You will work at Place and lead on our role as an anchor institution to improve services for all. You will have evidenced experience of your leadership and your impact across a broad portfolio including strategy, planning and transformation; business, people and financial management; and performance and operations management. You will champion development of colleagues, belonging and inclusion, and will motivate and inspire colleagues by role modelling our Proud to CARE values. About us

We are looking for people who will ensure that we continue to deliver our vision, mission and values through our Together as One strategy and demonstrate our Proud to CARE values. We have recently developed our expected leadership behaviours, and our organisational culture is a journey of continual improvement. We have a history and place in our community, meaning we make a difference in people's lives daily. We employ more than 5,000 colleagues across a Group structure which involves Chesterfield Royal Hospital, Royal Primary Care and our wholly owned subsidiary, DSFS. We value diversity and understand the strength in leveraging diverse backgrounds and experiences to create teams that are representative of the people we serve. We are committed to fostering a fair and inclusive culture, where everyone feels a sense of belonging. Therefore, we particularly welcome applications from people who are currently underrepresented in our senior leadership team. These include people from racially and ethnically diverse backgrounds, people with disabilities and people from the LGBTQIA+ community. This year we launched our anti-racism strategy, and our approach is based on real action. We prioritise health and wellbeing and have a free purpose-built fully accessible Hub on-site, supporting colleagues with 24/7 gym, classes, and access to psychological support. Job responsibilities
