Position Summary : We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Director/Director of Pharmacology to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing our drug discovery and development programs by providing strategic leadership and expertise in pharmacology. Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage pharmacology studies to support drug discovery and development programs across various therapeutic areas. Design, implement, and oversee in vivo pharmacology studies, including efficacy, pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, etc. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including biology and drug discovery, to advance project goals. Analyze and interpret pharmacological data, ensuring high-quality documentation and reporting. Initiate and closely oversee necessary external collaborations including CROs and academic labs. Manage and maintain the vivarium, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Identify and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance pharmacology research capabilities. Represent the pharmacology function in internal and external meetings, presenting data and program updates. Qualifications : Ph.D., Pharm.D., or equivalent in pharmacology, biology, or a related field. Extensive experience in pharmacology, with a proven track record in drug discovery and development. Demonstrated expertise in handling and managing vivarium operations. Strong background in in vivo pharmacology, with hands-on experience in designing and conducting animal studies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to vivarium management and animal research. Preferred Attributes : Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
