Your new role

As our new Associate (Electrical), you will be responsible for delivering technical designs in locations throughout the UK, Europe and remote locations around the world. You will be responsible for managing a team of skilled, multidisciplinary engineers, including assisting in winning work. You will be part of the Buildings team, but working across all markets and many countries. The Critical Systems team work on electrical and mechanical designs for infrastructure support projects such as road and rail tunnels, moving bridges, power generation, standby power support, uninterruptible power, and district heating facilities. We deliver provision for EV charging now and for future demand. We undertake Cat 3 checking of designs for critical infrastructure.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Electrical technical design, reviews and checking

Management of a team of building services engineering staff

Assisting in maintaining the orderbook and workflow

About you

You should have a Masters degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering, or equivalent

You should be Chartered (or en route to) with a recognised professional institution

You should have experience in electrical engineering design, with knowledge of proprietary software (ETAP or Trimble)

Be aware on site installation practice and buildability

Have good communications skill in written and spoken English
