As Associate General Counsel, you will play a crucial role in supporting the General Counsel Team by advising on conflicts of interest, regulatory compliance, and ethical matters. You’ll serve as an escalation point for the Compliance and New Business intake team and collaborate closely with partners and other stakeholders. Your work will help drive the development of the firm’s new matter intake processes and ensure the highest standards of professionalism and compliance. Key Responsibilities Resolve complex conflicts of interest and provide guidance on compliance, AML, and regulatory issues. Train and support the Compliance and New Business intake teams in London, Tampa, and Manila while enhancing new matter intake systems. Act as a bridge between business teams and partners, simplifying complex conflict issues and facilitating discussions. Make strategic, ethical, and commercial decisions aligned with the firm’s objectives. This role suits a qualified lawyer, with at least 4 years PQE, and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in risk management and conflicts resolution within a major international law firm. You will bring expertise in conflicts rules, proficiency with Intapp Open systems, and strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills. With a strategic and creative mindset, you are committed to fostering inclusivity, promoting team well-being, and confidently navigating complex issues.
