You will report into the General Counsel and will work with the other members of the General Counsel & Risk Team, based across all of our UK offices. You will be providing legal and regulatory advice across the following varied and interesting areas: Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing Client engagement terms and queries, bids, tenders, and associated client requests Professional indemnity insurance, general insurance, cyber insurance, and insurance-related queries GDPR/Data Protection, including complaints arising from the same, and liaising with the ICO Addressing and providing advice on regulatory, legal, and ethical queries received into the risk and compliance inbox Firmwide risk and compliance projects (e.g., changes to legislation, process review and improvement, new technologies, opportunities, etc.) To succeed in this role, you'll need to have: Worked, or be working, in a law firm, as a trainee solicitor who has reached qualification A commitment to fostering best practice and understanding the world of risk and compliance Experience and qualifications Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and independent judgement Self-directed with the ability to manage own work levels However, it is not all about experience and qualifications.
