We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our team as one of two Associate HR Business Partners (HRBPs) at our vibrant site in central London, just a 4-minute walk from King's Cross St Pancras. These key roles will empower you to make a significant impact across different sectors within UCL. The first position offers the chance to collaborate with HR colleagues in several prestigious faculties, including Laws, Arts and Humanities, Social and Historical Sciences, and the IOE – UCL's Faculty of Education and Society. The IOE is celebrated as a leading centre for research and teaching in education and social sciences, having proudly held the title of number one for education worldwide since 2014 in the QS World University Rankings by Subject. The second position presents an opportunity to support HR colleagues and managers in UCL's expansive Estates division, as well as in the influential Vice-President departments for Advancement, External Engagement, and Strategy. Provide support and assistance primarily to HR Business Partners from across the HR Business Partnering Team. Work with the client group to seek resolution to employee relations issues and collaborate with the Employee Relations Team to progress formal cases at the relevant stage. Prepare HR reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools; manipulate, analyse and interpret data, producing graphs and tables to clarify and visualize the data. Build and develop effective working relationships with managers and staff, providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and staff to influence and support them in achieving local and corporate objectives. Support the HR Business Partnering team in implementing people-focused initiatives and activities within the client group. About you

Experience of advising and handling a range of complex HR issues (e.g. disciplinaries, grievances, change management, TUPE) in a complex organisation. Experience of providing high-quality HR administrative support and advice to managers on a range of HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Experience in a HR Specialist role as well as generalist experience. Experience of designing and delivering training workshops on HR-related topics. Proven ability to analyse problems and evidence of having developed and successfully implemented practical solutions. Interpersonal skills to influence others and develop effective working relationships. Tenacious and resilient in the face of challenge and disagreement while maintaining a professional demeanor. Able to run reports and manipulate, analyse, and interpret data sets, including using graphs and tables. Ability to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team. Effective communication skills (both written & oral) with experience in drafting reports and writing business correspondence. Able to work collaboratively with central and local HR teams to foster inclusivity. Closing date: 11th February / Interview date: TBC What we offer
