£44,711 - £48,710 per year. Applications are invited from an enthusiastic, innovative, suitably qualified and experienced FCILEX, Solicitor or Barrister to work in our Contracts and Commercial team. The successful candidate will be expected to draft and negotiate commercial agreements and have a knowledge of construction contracts and disputes (mainly NEC). You will require a knowledge of public law procurement. You are able to work remotely with occasional office attendance. You will be expected to conduct and manage your own caseload under supervision. You must be able to communicate effectively with members, senior officers and outside agencies. Safeguarding Within Swansea Council there is a "Safeguarding is Everybody's Business" principle, and this applies to all Swansea Council employees, elected members, volunteers and contractors.
