Rockstar Dundee is looking for a capable project and people manager to join our team as a QA Lead. WHAT WE DO

Ensuring product quality of Rockstar releases to an industry leading standard. Creating and actioning comprehensive test plans ensuring everything is functioning correctly. Writing concise bug reports and providing all relevant supporting information such as screenshots, videos, and game logs. Working cohesively with various departments to gain a full understanding of all systems and game mechanics in test. RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and manage a team of QA Testers, providing mentorship, training, and support to ensure their success and professional development. Ensure implementation of comprehensive test plans, strategies, and methodologies to identify potential issues and bugs in our titles. Organise and execute test resource and allocations based on workload and facilitate movement of employees between tasks and projects to meet demand. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and production, to communicate QA goals, priorities, and feedback effectively. Establish and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices to optimise efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct regular reviews and assessments of testing processes and results, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance overall quality. Monitor and track bug reports, ensuring timely resolution and thorough documentation of issues throughout the development lifecycle. REQUIRED SKILLS

Prior experience within a project/people management role, ideally within the games industry or software QA. Proven ability to lead and manage a team (ideally of more than 5 direct reports) through project milestones/deadlines towards a common goal. Strong communication skills. Self-motivating, pro-active and autonomous in nature. Work collaboratively and flexibly with colleagues across all Rockstar studios. Experience with Microsoft Office. Passion for and knowledge of Rockstar Games and our titles along with an interest in and understanding of the video game industry. PLUSES

Please note that these are desirable skills and are not required to apply for the position. Knowledge of functionality testing of online titles/applications on current or recent console platforms. Extensive and varied experience of project test cycles. Knowledge of the current generation of games consoles and the associated software and hardware. Degree level educated. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
