The Department of Film and Media at Southampton Solent University is seeking to appoint an Associate Lecturer in Animation to deliver teaching on our BA (Hons) Animation degree.
You will hold an undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree and preferably hold or be close to completion of a doctorate in a relevant subject area and have relevant industry experience. Ideally, you would be a good generalist in animation, with knowledge of all areas of film production from concept, through production to post-production. You will have a good sense of idea generation, narratives for short animation, and cinematography. You will have experience of working with animation pipeline software, and knowledge of 3D development would also be an advantage.
