We are currently seeking an ambitious Associate Mechanical Engineer to join an established and well-recognised consultancy, based in Central London. As an established organisation, they work on some of the most innovative and prestigious projects across the UK and globally.

Some of the responsibilities include:

Serve as the Team Coordinator and line manager for team members, overseeing their daily tasks and workload. Refer to PRO-MAN-03 for detailed responsibilities of a Team Coordinator. Take responsibility for the well-being, job satisfaction, and career growth of team members. Act as the Project Lead for multiple projects. Refer to PRO-MAN-04 for detailed responsibilities of a Project Lead. Manage the team's fees and resources, ensuring the successful delivery of all projects. Lead the engineering design for various projects, coordinating with external design teams to ensure alignment with building services designs. Provide internal technical leadership by developing innovative concepts, sharing knowledge, and guiding others in their technical development. Stay updated on current trends and innovations in architecture, environmental, and building services design, ensuring designs are forward-thinking and optimized. Manage client relationships, ensuring that their requirements and expectations are reflected in the designs and fostering client satisfaction. Represent Integration in external settings, including client presentations, meetings, and events. Ensure that designs meet all relevant building regulations, planning policies, British standards, and CIBSE guidelines. Visit project sites and coordinate with contractors to ensure the design intent is being followed, and prepare site inspection reports. Collaborate with the internal team, communicating design concepts and sharing project information with other team members. Be mindful of health and safety issues in construction, understanding the designer's responsibilities under Construction Design and Management Regulations. Contribute to and ensure the team's adherence to Integration's internal standards and procedures. Embrace and contribute to Integration's culture, vision, and core values.

Some of the requirements include:

Proficient in using 2D AutoCAD. Experienced in using 3D modeling/BIM software such as REVIT. Skilled in managing junior engineers and delegating tasks. Experienced in leading internal projects and serving as the primary point of contact with external design teams. Proficient in managing project finances and resources. Strong business development abilities and proven success in generating repeat business. Knowledgeable in environmental design and sustainability considerations within construction. Demonstrates integrity and commitment. Capable of working under pressure and effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, approachable, and adaptable demeanor. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and writing skills.
