Contract Overall Purpose of Role:
This role sits within our Post Trade Operations team. The Post Trade Operations team exists to provide operational support for both internal and external users of exchange systems such as LMEsmart, LMEsword (including the depository service), and LMEpassport. This role will be to provide day to day support for the activities undertaken by the PTO team. The role will be expected to work within a team and also be recognized as significant individual contributors. The role will cover general duties undertaken by the team in addition to working with bespoke centers of excellence supporting our Matching and Warranting activities on a rotational basis. Responsibilities: To support the new team structure and operating model The tasks for each sub team include but are not limited to: Matching Coverage across all active shift patterns currently undertaken by the team Primary point of contact for LMEsmart related production issues or queries
e.g. matching rules, market data, fixed price auction updates, price banding
Common sense approach to time sensitive issues regardless of coverage model to ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times Perform quarterly audit of internal users for LMEsmart CRDS updates Participation in on-boarding / off-boarding meetings and adherence to the run-book Raising of CRs to support future enhancements to the platform
Champion high priority requests with team Manager for support in change forums
Participation in external client meetings with the Relationship Managers when required Updating comprehensive FAQs

Responsible for training new Members / users in how to use LMEsword and LMEpassport Academic and Professional Qualifications Required: Education to degree level is not a mandatory requirement of this role but successful candidates will be expected to have a good level of general academics combined with relevant experience for the role. Required Knowledge and Level of Experience: Previous LME Matching exposure preferred/ideal but will consider, depending on the candidate’s experience, candidates who do not have previous Matching exposure. A good level of previous experience in a similar position required. Good general computer knowledge essential being conversant in the normal standard Microsoft Office applications. Skills set and Core Competencies Required for Role: Practical experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite & Windows XP. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Knowledge of FIX beneficial, but not essential. About Us
