Associate Product Development Manager at SO ENERGY

As an Associate Product Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the development and execution of innovative energy propositions, products, and services. This role will support So Energy’s vision to lead in renewable integration and energy efficiency by identifying market opportunities, conducting detailed product research, and managing product lifecycles. You will provide critical data analysis, monitor market trends, and contribute to product strategies aligned with the company’s net-zero future goals.

What you’ll be getting up to:

Product Research & Development Conduct detailed market analysis on emerging renewable energy technologies such as solar power, electric vehicles, energy storage, and decarbonisation initiatives. Identify new product opportunities that support energy efficiency, renewable integration, and alignment with sustainability goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, policy, and marketing to develop innovative solutions and bring them to market. Support product lifecycle management from conceptualisation to market launch, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and energy transition policies. Work closely with stakeholders to develop strategic product roadmaps that align with broader business goals Data Analysis & Reporting Analyze customer usage patterns, market trends, and competitor offerings to provide insights for product development and refinement. Develop comprehensive reports to monitor product performance KPIs, presenting data-driven recommendations for improvements. Track the impact of new products on customer, commercial, and environmental impacts. Use advanced analytics tools to identify key trends, evaluate customer feedback, and optimize the positioning of products within the market Product Delivery & Launch Assist in developing launch plans and communication strategies to promote products to target audiences. Coordinate with marketing teams to develop content that clearly communicates product benefits and sustainability features. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations, providing updates on project progress and addressing any obstacles. Facilitate lessons-learned sessions at the conclusion of projects, documenting findings for future product initiatives. This role will be a great fit if:

Essential: Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and market trends. Experience in product development, especially within the energy sector. Proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and market information. Knowledge of energy policies and regulatory frameworks. Desirable: Experience with energy storage systems. Familiarity with environmental sustainability and net-zero strategies.
