Jack Mckenna/Rick Golliker The role: The Associate Product Owner will work alongside the Senior Product Owners/Product Owners within their value stream to support the business-as-usual product management of their assigned value stream, as well as supporting the full development lifecycle for future product enhancements. Outcomes of the role: Supporting the Senior Product Owners/Product Owners with the coordination of an agile team including combined business, technical, data, design, and research capabilities in a continual make-test-learn product cycle. Drive the focus of and analyse the results of customer experience research aligned to Product Strategy and desired product outcomes. Support in the prioritisation and grooming of product backlogs on an ongoing basis. Support the full product development life cycle, including post-launch product management and ideation through to the launch of new features and functionality. Input to key performance indicators to measure results. Be data-driven and obsessed with the customer experience, producing reporting and documentation as appropriate. Cooperate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to product development, testing and deployment in an Agile manner using Scrum methodology and artefacts. Support prioritisation of the backlog for their value stream, balancing business requirements and customer needs ensuring that they are well defined and managing the release schedules. Translate business requirements into technical stories and vice versa. Take ownership of Service-related issues aligned to their value stream, coordinating, and collaborating with their peers in different value streams where there are shared dependencies. Knowledge and Experience required: Ideation to launch and ongoing development. Market and customer insights with proficiency in conducting research, analysing client and user needs, and translating insights into actionable product features and improvements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to communicate and work with all levels within the organisation. Passionate about digital technology with a desire to keep on top of new technologies and share these best practices with the overall team. Able to bridge the technical and business worlds, ensuring we are building the right things. A team player, able to influence product conversations with all involved parties.
