The University of Lincoln is seeking an innovative and dynamic individual to lead the development of our Pharmacy education programs. As the Director of Pharmacy Education, you will join a strong school leadership team and collaborate with colleagues from across the health and social care professions as well as external stakeholders. We have completed our Part 2 GPhC accreditation visit against the new standards and your role will be to ensure that we continue to successfully shape and further develop our MPharm programme and the wider pharmacy portfolio. It is important to us that our pharmacy programmes deliver an exceptional student experience and develop research-curious, work-ready graduates. Establishing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with practice partners in the regional healthcare sector is paramount.

You should be an experienced pharmacy educator with demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and motivational skills. You should possess the ability to implement new ideas and excellent communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders. Your collaborative efforts will shape our pharmacy programs and placement provisions to ensure ongoing alignment with the new standards for the initial education and training of pharmacists. We seek a strong educationalist who is a creative thinker, collaborator, and strong line manager. You will facilitate and support our staff in challenging their thinking and fostering innovation. Adaptability, excellent organizational skills, and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities are essential.

Situated in the heart of a beautiful and historic city, the University of Lincoln prides itself on putting students at the heart of everything it does. The University has strong ambitions to become an established UK top 40 institution, with a focus on the quality of teaching and learning, and an excellent student experience, for which we have been awarded Gold in the national Teaching Excellence Framework 2023. Our Pharmacy and Pharmacology education is ranked twelfth overall in the Guardian Good University Guide 2025.

We offer a fantastic working environment with superb, well-equipped specialist teaching spaces close to the Brayford Pool Marina, the city centre, and transportation hubs. If you are an innovative, adaptable, team player and passionate about education, interprofessional working, and pharmacy workforce development, we encourage you to apply and join our team.

As part of your application, please submit a detailed CV.
