As an Associate QA Engineer at Exegy, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge market data solutions. This role offers an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while contributing to the development and maintenance of robust automated and manual testing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, gain hands-on experience with advanced technologies, and grow your expertise in financial market data and quality assurance. Responsibilities Participate in the full testing lifecycle, including test planning, implementation, execution, and reporting Assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks Collaborate with development and business teams to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage Execute manual and automated tests to validate the functionality and stability of new features and updates Support QA processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and service level agreements (SLAs) Document test results and identify potential risks or issues, escalating them as necessary Our Ideal Candidate Has: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience through internships or projects 1–2 years of experience in software quality assurance or related areas (internships or academic projects are welcome) 1-2 years of experience in Python and Linux Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools (experience in Jenkins, or C++ is a plus) Basic knowledge of testing techniques for both UI and API-based interfaces Interest in financial markets, trading systems, or capital markets (prior knowledge is a bonus) Understanding of software development lifecycles and QA best practices Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Willingness to learn and work in a collaborative environment
