Associate Quantity Surveyor

THE ROLE An opportunity for an ambitious Associate Quantity Surveyor to work for a large firm of PQS / construction consultants based in Leeds. You will initially work on high value projects for either large commercial offices or residential projects including Purpose Built Student Accommodation or Build to Rent residential projects. They are seeking people who are MRICS qualified and have been working for another firm of PQS. THE COMPANY My client is a large firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Employers Agent etc. for projects both in the UK and abroad. They currently have offices across the UK and abroad and work on both new build and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors including commercial offices, residential, arenas, sports stadia, data centres, airports, life sciences, and more. THE CANDIDATE You will be a BSc or MSc qualified Quantity Surveyor who is also MRICS qualified. You will be at Associate or Associate Director level or approaching Associate with experience of leading large projects. You will need to have good pre and post contract experience. You should be able to supervise more junior quantity surveyors, helping to support them through APC. Experience across a range of building projects is preferred, particularly on PBSA and BtR. You should have good analytical skills, a stable work record, and excellent English both written and spoken, along with good client-facing skills. Salary is negotiable according to experience plus benefits which include RICS fees, health insurance, pension, discretionary bonus, and other benefits.
