A little more about your role… Become a part of an expanding UK team of Project, Programme, Construction, and Commercial Managers, with a focus on career growth, professional development, and advancement. We are looking for people with experience within the Data Centre Sector. Our Project Management Team at WSP is responsible for guiding projects throughout the project lifecycle, implementing robust planning methodologies and monitoring and managing health & safety, time, quality, cost, and risk at each stage throughout the project. Duties: Supporting project delivery teams in the successful delivery of projects/programmes via the management of risks Supporting and collaborating with the multidisciplinary project delivery teams including project managers, planners, and commercial managers Working at the heart of the delivery of some of the largest and most exciting projects and programmes across the UK Drive risk-based decision-making by introducing and driving the technical aspects of risk management in project delivery, including quantitative risk analysis Leading day-to-day client contact for your project(s) Taking ownership for the successful delivery of the risk management services for your projects Undertake line management duties, mentoring and supporting junior members of the team Championing excellence in health and safety practice to achieve safe, sustainable, and efficient outcomes that meet agreed objectives Become an active member of a team of changemakers YOUR TEAM Our growing PMO Risk & Value Management team encompasses 30+ risk professionals with differing backgrounds and seniority, based across the UK at our offices in London, Cambridge, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Middlesbrough, Cardiff, Swindon, and Glasgow Collaboration and teamwork are second nature within the team, supported by a regular Risk Community of Practice that gets us together as a team to share challenges and best practices Our team actively considers new and innovative ways of working and seeks continuous improvement in the delivery of our services We work on nationwide and local projects that support sustainable growth and development across the UK. We encourage a net zero culture and blend our activities to maximise opportunities for minimising our impact on the planet Qualifications: Have experience in the development and implementation of risk management techniques and best practices in a project environment Are proactive, professional, and a driver of collaborative working environments Have excellent communication skills and are passionate about project and risk management Have experience undertaking both qualitative and quantitative analysis using a range of techniques, including modelling using risk software Can interpret and challenge the outcomes of Quantitative Risk Analysis, for both cost and time Have expertise in using Xactium, Safran, @Risk, PRA, and other Risk Management applications Have knowledge, understanding, and experience in project and programme management services Have a degree or appropriate qualifications and relevant work experience in construction/engineering and/or management
