Associate Director

for our Project & Program Controls team: To be a key member within the Digital PMO pillar of our Programme Leadership & Management (PL&M) team With strong experience in project and programme controls execution Who is passionate about working across Arcadis' Resilience UK business including the water, energy and environment sectors To develop and embed best practice for the delivery of project and programme controls This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the PL&M team, a growing and pivotal function within Arcadis and comprising 3 pillars of excellence: Programme leadership and execution Programme Controls Digital PMO Major projects You will support the Global Project and Program Management Service Director for Resilience who leads the PL&M Team and support the pillar leads in realising the vision. You will work as part of a team of consultants aligned to your area of expertise. Within this role, you will aim to achieve the highest quality outcomes for our clients, liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for delivering Client programmes and projects in line with budgetary, compliance, regulatory and planning controls, and have deep technical knowledge and broad business experience. Role Accountabilities

Support PL&M Digital PMO leader in strategic decisions and project controls Lead, mentor, and ensure compliance for project controls professionals Manage commissions for quality and commercial standards Implement Project Controls strategies and ensure team adherence Collaborate with project managers, provide insights and advice Analyse project performance, communicate progress, issues, and opportunities Coordinate project controls activities, meet deadlines, and report insights Resolve complex project issues and ensure reflections in controls products Required Skills

Proven Project Controls experience within the construction industry Creative and complex problem solving, and the ability to identify drivers to problems, join dots and spot gaps to develop solutions Ability to work at pace amidst ambiguity, turning complex, unclear requests into tangible actions that can be delivered Proven ability to manage, motivate and lead teams Ability to work independently on specific commissions to shape their direction and delivery Excellent communication and the ability to communicate complex scenarios in a clear, succinct, and evidenced way Ability to adopt new challenges rapidly and apply experience to develop a plan or solution Qualifications & Experience

Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent Relevant professional qualification or chartered status A solid understanding of cost, planning, change and contract management in a project environment Excellent understanding of the NEC suite of contracts Why Arcadis?
