Are you an experienced Town Planner ready to step into a leadership role? We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Town Planner to join a top consultancy with offices in Preston, Manchester, and Lichfield. This role offers the chance to manage high-profile projects across sectors including Commercial, Leisure, Energy, Housing, and Sport, while mentoring junior planners and playing a key role in shaping the future of the consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage complex planning applications and appeals.
Provide planning advice and direction to clients across multiple sectors.
Conduct detailed site appraisals, policy reviews, and feasibility assessments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful, innovative solutions.
Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development efforts.
Mentor and guide junior members of the planning team.
Requirements:
Relevant degree in Town Planning or a related field.
Significant experience as a Town Planner, ideally within a consultancy or local authority.
In-depth knowledge of UK planning legislation, regulations, and policy.
Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and deliver on time.
Excellent leadership, communication, and report-writing skills.
Chartered status with the RTPI or working towards it.
