What the role involves

• Deliver complex, high-impact work, at the heart of one of the region’s most innovative and fast-moving developments.
• Supporting arrangements for managing and assuring DCO requirements and commitments.
• Coordinating DCO-related assurance activities, including compliance checks, audits and reviews.
• Maintaining accurate, complete and auditable records of DCO requirements and compliance evidence.
• Work with project teams and supply chain to ensure DCO obligations are understood and implemented.
• Monitoring compliance risks, issues and non-compliances and escalate through governance processes.

Skills and requirements

• Degree qualified in engineering, planning, project management, law, environmental or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Typically 5+ years’ experience in regulatory assurance, requirements management or compliance within major infrastructure or capital programmes.
• Strong knowledge of the Development Consent Order regime and NSIP statutory planning framework.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and supply chain partners.
