The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a successful Audio Visual distributor in the South West as their Technical Support person.

Working within their team offering technical support to a customer network of Audio Visual Integrators and Custom Installers. Products categories include: Control systems Lighting Audio/video switching and networking. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: Technical Support: Take incoming support calls from customers Give technical advice and resolve issues Screen share with customers where necessary Ensure you give the best possible support service

Training: Deliver technical training courses Admin/SAP: Enter service calls on SAP Keep SAP service records updated Facilitate advance replacement Check stock Gain authorisation Send advance replacement unit Liaise with Vendor for replacement Ensure faulty unit is returned Keep returns records up to date

Communication: Liaise regarding RMAs International shipping Use Vendor technical support when cannot resolve an issue internally Dealer portal

Technical Marketing: Attend and assist on stand at exhibitions Ensure latest products are installed in all demo facilities Keep all demonstration facilities fully functional Make recommendations of complimentary equipment for demonstration facilities

Written: Assist with technical aspects of E-Shots Assist with technical aspects of marketing blurb Assist and monitor social marketing efforts

Based in South West (M4 corridor), salary £35k-£40k DOE plus benefits. Work can be hybrid. Your skills and experience

You will be an experienced Audio Visual Technician with skills in IT and Lighting who is used to helping customers get the most from their Audio Visual products and installation. Your customers will be mainly integrators and resellers as well as their end-user clients. Good communication skills are vital to the role - both verbal and written. You will also be a team player working to ensure you always offer first class support to customers and colleagues.
