WHAT YOU’LL DO: You will install a wide variety of technology into clients' existing and new build project sites, ensuring comprehensive cable management. You will plan the layout and install all first fix hardware, including bracketry and ceiling speaker hardware, making sure that all general contract requirements are met. You will need to have a thorough knowledge of low voltage electrical concepts and possess basic carpentry and installation skills. Proficiency in the safe use of power tools is essential. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems as they arise. Additionally, flexibility to extensively travel to other sites for project support and installations is required. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: Some Experience with any of the following: Crestron/Extron/QSYS/Cisco Must have an understanding of Signal Flow Knowledge of how to build AV racks to required AVIXA standards ensuring required airflow and layouts. Knowledge of all cabling used in the AV industry and experience terminating associated connector. Must be agile, and exhibit a strong sense of urgency. Must be responsive, efficient, have excellent customer interaction skills, and exhibit a high level of professionalism. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment, under immense pressure. The pace requires independent and confident thinking, self-motivation and determination. Must be engaged in the process of technical development. Be eligible, willing and able to work and travel globally when required. Good organization and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities. Good written and verbal communication skills. Must have critical thinking and problem-solving ability. Be flexible and adaptable to change and hours of work, to meet the needs of the customer. Be a motivated team player. Must have a valid driver’s license. PREFERRED SKILLS: 1-3 years field experience in AV CTS certified CSR Avixa Essentials to AV Technology certification Construction Health & Safety Card or equivalent Working at height cert Cable and Termination course EOS communication training (attitude, report writing, prompt replying)
