Audiologist – Band 6

Job Summary: Kingston and Richmond Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Audiologist to join our Audiology team at the Richmond site. The successful candidate will act as an autonomous practitioner in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of a diverse caseload. This role involves providing high-quality service delivery, supporting service improvements, and maintaining IQIPS accreditation. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments and provide hearing aid provision to the Richmond population. Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and professionals to support efficient service delivery. Assist in gathering departmental performance data and developing clinical pathways. Ensure the efficient transition of patients in adult services. Maintain up-to-date theoretical knowledge and evidence-based practice. Provide detailed clinical reports, habilitation programmes, and other complex written information. Perform specialist diagnostic audiological procedures and develop individual management plans. Participate in clinical audit, research, and service development activities. Supervise and support junior staff and students in their training and development. Maintain and calibrate audiology equipment and manage stock levels. Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Audiology or equivalent qualification. State Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Must have at least 6 months audiology experience within the last 3 years. Strong clinical skills in both objective and behavioural audiological procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
