Role Overview:

As an Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the management and delivery of audit and accounting services to a varied portfolio of clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in audit and accounts to take the next step in their career and be part of a collaborative and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities: Leading and managing audit and accounts assignments from planning to completion for a portfolio of clients. Overseeing and reviewing the work of junior staff, providing guidance and support. Managing relationships with clients and maintaining regular communication to ensure the timely delivery of services. Preparing financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP or IFRS, and other applicable standards. Reviewing the work of junior staff and assisting in their development. Assisting with the preparation of tax computations and assisting with other areas of tax compliance. Ensuring that deadlines are met and that work is carried out efficiently and to a high standard. Maintaining and managing client records, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Skills and Experience:

ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of audit and accounting procedures. Experience in managing audits and accounts preparation within an accountancy practice. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments. Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and taxation. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar). Ability to manage a team and mentor junior staff.
