The Role Portfolio management for a diverse range of audit and accounts clients, with oversight and review responsibilities for junior members of the team Involvement with Audit planning, scheduling, meetings and completion processes, ensuring audit teams are fully briefed and completing audit assignments to schedule Responsibility for time and fee management, WIP and billing duties Identifying any issues, anomalies or difficulties arising from audit and accounting assignments and resolving or escalating to Partners, where required Attending client meetings and building trusted, effective relationships with your clients People management duties including regular appraisal and feedback, identifying any training requirements within your team Direct involvement with ad hoc advisory projects and supporting Partners with business development opportunities Requirements CA/ACCA/ACA qualified with a minimum of 3 years PQE working within a reputable UK accountancy practice Demonstrable knowledge and experience of UK external audit, year-end accounts and corporation tax compliance Highly motivated and commercially-focused approach to client work Previous experience of managing qualified and trainee accountants/auditors Experience of relevant accounting and audit software On Offer: Competitive Salary (DOE) + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits package including option to purchase additional holidays Hybrid and flexible working options Career planning and progression support, with genuine progression opportunities Interested in finding out more?
