Think Trevor James are working with a fast-growing firm in the North West who are looking to add an Audit & Accounts Manager to their Audit team. The right person will have the opportunity to work within an established firm and build on their skills through working with a diverse client base.

They are very people-oriented, having been voted 2nd best firm to work for in 2022, with a great focus on working culture providing collaboration and social days to build relationships. They offer flexible & hybrid working, with 60% in the office and 40% at home. All emails are switched off after working hours to encourage better work-life balance. There is full study support and a clear career path with a learning and development coordinator present to discuss this.

Role Requirements

Hold ACA or ACCA qualification, with management experience Have handled a variety of audits, including those for owner-managed businesses Possess strong technical skills, with familiarity in CCH preferred Be an excellent leader who motivates and inspires the team

Responsibilities of the Audit & Accounts Manager

Take full ownership of client accounts and audits, overseeing the process from start to finish Collaborate with directors to identify opportunities and deliver valuable advice Build strong, long-term relationships, becoming the trusted advisor for clients Exceed client expectations daily by deeply understanding their business needs Mentor and support the development of trainees and senior team members
