As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality audit and accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will encompass both audit and accounts preparation, allowing you to showcase your expertise and contribute to the development of the team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a range of clients and further your professional journey. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and completion. Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports. Work closely with clients to understand their business operations and provide valuable financial insights. Ensure compliance with auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and firm policies. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and fostering their growth. Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices. Stay informed about industry developments and changes in accounting and auditing standards. Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand services. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation. Qualifications and Skills: ACA or ACCA qualification. Substantial experience in audit and accounts preparation within an accounting practice. Strong knowledge of auditing standards, IFRS, and UK GAAP. Proficiency in using audit software, accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions. Leadership qualities with the ability to guide and motivate team members. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work. Proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for continuous improvement.
