As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for providing accounting, auditing and taxation services to clients accurately and within budget and time constraints. You will also ensure compliance with policies and procedures, while developing the technical competence of the team. In addition, you will manage subordinates' job performance and provide professional coaching and support where required, addressing areas for improvement.
Your role will be diverse and will involve managing a team of seniors and trainees, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, planning and delegating client-related work, and ensuring compliance with assignment budgets and deadlines.
To succeed in this role, you should possess a minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience in a similar practice-based role and hold either ICAEW or ACCA qualification with a strong academic background. You should also have staff management experience, ideally with trainees and seniors, and possess exceptional technical competence and experience. In addition, you should demonstrate strong analytical and logical skills, and be technically up-to-date with awareness of relevant regulatory frameworks.
